I witnessed a tragic event one morning when I was running with my dog Rigby off leash. He commenced galavanting with another group of three dogs, a couple of labs and a border. Rigby is a water lover, and I mean incorrigible, as were his new friends, the only trouble was, their owner didn’t want them to swim…. You can visualise what came to pass, they were all in the pond having a great time! 

Anyway, their owner was calling them out unsuccessfully and when they decided they’d had enough, to my shock… they got a flogging with their leash, after that Rigby’s playmates kept a clear distance from their boss, and who would be suprised.
